Derry Traditional - Chrome Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit Angled 15mm (130mm version)

More individual control for your radiator

Give this radiator its own level of thermostatic control with the Derry Traditional Chrome TRV and lockshield set. The angled 15mm connection is designed for the appropriate pipe route, while the wax sensor works with the valve to reduce hot-water flow when the room no longer needs as much heat.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Set each room's warmth more independently: Thermostatic control lets this radiator react to the temperature of its own room rather than relying only on the main heating controls.
• Reduce unnecessary radiator heating: By reducing hot-water flow when the room is warm enough, the valve can help limit unnecessary heating in that space.
• Add protection during very cold weather: When surrounding temperatures become very low, frost-protection behaviour can permit limited flow to help protect the radiator and connected pipework.
• Avoid sourcing a matching lockshield separately: Supplying a matching lockshield alongside the TRV means both visible valve positions can be completed as one coordinated set.
• Choose a valve body that suits your pipe route: For side-entry radiators with pipes coming up from the floor, the angled body turns the connection neatly into the radiator.
• Move beyond simple on-or-off radiator control: Multi-temperature control provides a choice of thermostatic settings rather than limiting the radiator to fully open or fully closed.
• Use a sensor that reacts as the room warms and cools: Temperature changes cause the wax sensor to expand or contract, allowing automatic control of the valve mechanism.
• Make the valve set part of the radiator's overall look: The traditional valve shape gives the installation a more period-inspired finishing detail. The Chrome colour with a polished & un-lacquered finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Buy with longer-term reassurance: A 3 years guarantee gives you longer-term reassurance beyond the initial installation.
