 The Dewalt DWST08061-1 ToughSystem 2.0 18V Task Box & Light combined both a unique lighting solution and a storage box both on the Dewalt Toughsystem platform. 

In terms of storage, this open tote follows in the footsteps of other recent Dewalt ToughSystem 2.0’half width’ cases.  Ideal for carrying huge range of power tools, hand tools and much more, the tote include ToughSystem connectivity on the base side, so that you can easily connect to others within the range thanks to the Auto-Latch Side Staking latches.

The tool box has visible IP65 water seals to prevent dust and water from entering the case when being transported thereby protection your tools from the elements.

The lid of the case is where it gets clever.  Working together with the case or independently, two bright LED light panels brings illumination to any work area.  Whether you need it for precision work, or just to brighten up a dark workspace, the LED work lights deliver up to 4000lumens and can be turned up to 360° to suit your needs.

Powered from 18V XR batteries, the light can work from the floor, on top of a ToughSystem box tower, or from a lighting tripod.  If there is the capacity, you can even hang it from above.  Each light can be adjusted over 7 different illumination modes while a power display on the front lets you know how much battery you have left.

 The NEW stackable Dewalt TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 storage system impresses with improved functions such as water and dust protection according to IP65, easy-to-close metal front bolts and automatic locking.

The Dewalt Toughsystem 2.0 is compatible with the older TOUGHSYSTEM models, so that you can easily expand the current TOUGHSYSTEM equipment without having to replace it.

The Dewalt Toughsystem 2.0 boxes offer compatibility with half modules, wider, stronger handles for more ergonomics and comfort in use, an automatic, easy-to-use stacking lock, and a volume that is 20% higher than before. The metal front latches allow easy one-handed operation, and the metal-reinforced padlock mount provides more security for the contents.
