The combined inlet of the IBC lid, with its overflow protection and suction connection, automatically fills the IBC rainwater tank and drains the water quickly and safely. The suction assembly consists of a 1-inch foot valve and a spiral hose. This allows you to connect a domestic or industrial water pump to continue using the collected water. Quick-connect fittings (replaceable) are used for connections. The brass bottom valve, also known as a check valve (control device), maintains a steady water column after the water pump stops. This ensures that no air blocks the water supply when the pump is restarted. The float valve has a flow rate of 100 l/min and a pressure of 3 bar. The maximum operating pressure is 6 bar. A 25 mm hose fitting (replaceable) on the top of the lid serves as the water inlet. IBC tanks can deform due to overpressure or negative pressure. To prevent this, a venting system is installed on the top of the lid. This ensures safe and reliable operation when filling and draining rainwater. The maximum fill level of the container can be determined using a continuously adjustable float on the stem. When the water level drops, the valve opens and liquid can flow into the IBC tank. When the preset maximum water level is reached, the valve closes automatically and reliably. In addition to water inlets, we also recommend installing firestops or fillers in existing roof downpipes. The advantage of a combined installation is that when the maximum fill level is reached, excess rainwater is directed to the drainage system.
