The weather-resistant adhesive is made of a durable acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. This results in an extremely strong double-sided foam tape that adheres to a variety of substrates, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composite materials, plastics, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, as well as painted or sealed wood and concrete. It can withstand high heat and heavy rain.

The black base layer is made of polyethylene (PE) foam with a double-sided acrylic coating and adhesive. The adhesive is protected by a detachable red liner, which can be removed or left in place during application until the contact surfaces are ready to be applied and can be easily peeled off by hand.
