Installation

• Insert a 1.5V AA battery (positive side up) into the battery slot on the handle.

• Hold the tester in one hand and the test rod in the other.

• Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water to the black position.

• Gently stir the water with the metal rod.

• Turn the knob on the front of the tester in the CL direction until it can no longer be moved, then adjust it to match the reading from a traditional liquid test tool.

Usage

• For pH testing, let the test stick remain in the water and turn the knob in the pH direction until a beep is heard (remove the battery when reading the pH).

• Wait for the pointer to stop swinging to take a pH reading.

• For chlorine testing, set the pointer to the "set point" position, insert the metal rod into the water, and wait for the pointer to stabilize to take a reading.

Other information

• To extend the life of the tester, turn the knob to the closed position when not in use.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Do not immerse the test stick in any liquid other than pool water and hot spring water.

• Regularly check battery power; the tester requires one 1.5V "AA" alkaline battery.
