Description:
This ER collet is used for CNC milling tools and workholding engraving machines.
The collet must be placed in the collet chuck nut before being inserted into the collet chuck.
Installation and Removal Instructions: Place the collet in the nut, turn it slightly, and wait until the eccentric part of the nut is engaged in the circlip groove. Push the collet evenly to insert it into the nut.
Install the collet and nut together onto the chuck body or machine tool spindle. Place the engraving tool in the clamping hole. Use a wrench to tighten the nut until the engraving tool is securely held.
When replacing the engraving tool, use a wrench to loosen the nut to remove the chuck and engraving tool. The engraving tool, push the clamp out, then replace the clamp with a different size if necessary.
