Simply insert it into the groove of the guide rail from above and fix it in place. Then adjust the scale of the marking indicator to the depth setting of your plunge-cut saw, align it with the marking and place the cut-outs precisely where you need them. The marking indicator can also be magnetically attached to the right or left of the support plate.
