[NEED TO KNOW] The filters are designed specifically for PETKITEVERSWEET1 and 2 fountains. If you own an EVERSWEET1 water dispenser, consider also purchasing a new tray. FILTER 2.0 is only compatible with NEWRAY and FOUNTAIN 1.0. [Stronger Filtration] The filter element uses Purolite filter material as its raw material. Increase the amount of filter material in the filter element for better filtration performance and to remove hair, debris, heavy metals, and other harmful substances from the water. Filter better. Your pet is protected from disease. [4 Filtration Types] The filter layer is composed of: two layers of high-quality cotton mesh, coconut shell activated carbon, and ion-exchange resin. [Please Note] Before replacing the filter element, soak it in cold water for 5 minutes to activate the ion-exchange resin. After replacing the filter element, press and hold the black reset button located at the bottom of the water dispenser to turn off the orange indicator light. [When Replacing the Filter] Normally, replace the filter every 3 months in SMART mode or every 1 month in NORMAL mode. When the filter needs to be replaced, the indicator light turns orange.
