First, determine the gas density in the air, then install this detector within a 2.5 m radius of the gas source. (Note: Coal gas and natural gas have a lower density than air and should therefore be installed higher. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has a lower density than air and should therefore be installed lower.)

Ensure the power and signal cables are correctly connected to the detector, then switch it on. The unit will then start as follows:

1. Warm-up state: The red LED flashes once and a buzzer sounds.

2. Normal state: The green LED flashes once per minute for approximately 3 minutes. 3. Monitoring state: The green LED remains lit. To check the detector's proper operation, press button S1 on the electronic board. If the red LED illuminates and the speaker beeps, the detector is functioning correctly. When the gas density reaches 6% of the LEL (Lower Explosive Limit), the LED turns red and flashes, and the speaker beeps (the alarm frequency depends on the gas density: the higher the density, the higher the frequency). Once the emergency situation is resolved, the detector can be returned to normal operation. In case of malfunction, the red LED flashes and the speaker beeps; the internal delay triggers the alarm signals. The detector can be returned to normal operation once the malfunction is resolved. Testing and maintenance: Test method: Fill the orifice with gas for at least 5 seconds while the detector is in monitoring mode. If the indicator light flashes and the audible signal sounds, the detector is functioning correctly (you can perform this test with a gas lamp, for example). This product is subject to stringent environmental requirements. Please clean the detector regularly (remove dust, oil, moisture, etc.). Sensitivity is highly dependent on the cleanliness of the detection area. Precautions: Do not install this device outdoors or in damp locations. Do not install it near areas with high air circulation, such as ventilation areas, fans, or doorways. Do not install this device in locations isolated from the gas source. Ensure that no excessive amounts of chemical liquids, such as lamps, pesticides, ethanol, etc., are used near this detector. In case of malfunction, check that the inlet and outlet lines are properly connected. The warranty is void if this product is opened by the user.
