Made from 20CrMrTi steel, the chuck body undergoes full case hardening and heat treatment, then is ground to the inside and outside diameters for high concentricity and an optimal machining finish. This robust construction gives it a hardness of HRC 48-55, a surface roughness of less than 0.08 mm, as well as exceptional wear resistance and performance stability. Its stable design and manufacturing quality allow for excellent tapping results even with a standard chuck. It is compatible with all types of machine taps, from M2 to M30, making it extremely versatile and practical for your workshop.
