Its hardness ranges from HRC 48 to 55, ensuring robustness and a long service life. The surface is treated with a 0.08 mm thick top layer for added protection. The tool holder is hardened and tempered, ensuring high concentricity for optimal and precise machining results. During tapping, its ability to expand and retract effectively protects taps from breakage or premature wear. It is equipped with an ER20 adapter collet and is compatible with taps from size M2 to M16. This tool is specifically designed for use on CNC lathes, thus optimizing tapping processes.
