Whether they are made of metal, with single or double crimps, in smooth PVC or in reinforced PVC, you will find the shower hose that meets your needs here. You will also find all the common accessories - from the simple adapter to the most efficient shower saver - as well as leading brands such as Grohe, Jacob Delafon, or Roca.
There are several materials available for hoses, in fabric, in plastic, and in metal.
Fabric hoses:
Mainly made of woven nylon thread, these are often the first choice as a supply hose. Their flexibility is highly appreciated. However, their fabric coating prevents them from scratching other shower elements.
Plastic hoses:
Mostly made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), there are several versions available. The most affordable version consists of a simple PVC hose. Having the intrinsic qualities of this polymer, the hose is very hygienic while remaining very easy to clean.
For better anti-kink resistance, you can opt for a reinforced PVC hose with metal wires. In addition to being antibacterial, their spiral made of metal and PVC provides them with outstanding ergonomics and longevity.
Metal hoses:
Available in two possible metals: brass and stainless steel. Once the material is selected, you must then choose the quality of crimping: single or double. Generally, the more substantial the crimping, the more pliable and easy to handle the shower hose is.
But what length to choose?
There are 4 standard sizes of shower hoses: 125, 150, 175, and 200 centimeters.
We advise you to choose a shower hose that can reach 10cm above the head of the tallest person in your household. Considering that the tap is located either 1 meter from the floor, in the case of a shower mixer, and 50 cm for a combined bath-shower tap.
Practical case:
If the tallest family member measures 195 centimeters, you will then need to get a shower hose that can reach 2.5 meters. A 1.25-meter hose will be sufficient for a shower set, while for a combined tap, you will need a 1.75-meter hose.
