The reinforced replacement guide is made of CNC-milled stainless steel, not the cheap die-cast material that is standard. The replacement guide is significantly reinforced and much more robust than the original part.
The transfer is really simple:
Open the switch (clips on the sides).
Remove the old, faulty guide.
Insert the new, reinforced version.
Put the switch back in place.
