Aluminum Alloy Forging Process: Manufactured from high-strength, aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, forged at high temperature.
Compared to conventionally cast or machined parts, the metal's denser crystal structure provides a superior strength-to-weight ratio and increased fatigue strength. This makes the shift lever more resistant to the stresses of harsh off-road environments. Secure, torsionally rigid construction: The shift lever's structure was designed for optimal strength. Reinforcement and weakening calculations were performed in specific areas. In the event of a strong side impact, the shift knob deforms in a controlled manner, protecting the expensive shift shaft in the transmission from further damage. Wear-resistant silver coating: The entire surface is hard-anodized, giving it a bright, uniform silver color.
