【Important】Installation and Usage InstructionsCheck Connection Type and Size:
Before winterizing, check that the internal thread of the skimmer or inlet nozzle to be protected is a standard thread (male thread) and the size is 1-1/2 inch or 2 inches.
Remove the skimmer basket and inspect the interface. This is crucial for compatibility.
Standard Installation Steps:
Drain and Clean: After winterizing, lower the water level in the pool below all pipe openings. Thoroughly clean the skimmer, removing all debris and water.
Install the Antifreeze Hose: Align the threaded end of the antifreeze hose with the interface in the skimmer and tighten by hand in a clockwise direction. Do not use tools or apply excessive force.
Install the Antifreeze Plug (if applicable): Place the supplied antifreeze plug onto the skimmer opening or seal the top opening of the antifreeze hose.
Refill with Antifreeze (optional, but recommended): Add an appropriate amount of pool antifreeze to the skimmer chamber for better protection of the pipes. Preparing for spring pool use: Before filling the pool with water in spring, be sure to unscrew and remove the frost protection hoses and plugs. Check that the skimmer is undamaged. After cleaning, you can insert the filter basket as usual and begin the new swimming season.Features
