Usage

These duplicators are clonable remote controls — they are not pre-paired. They must be cloned from a genuine Hörmann remote control in good working order. They are ideal as a backup, replacement, or key fob remote control. To ensure proper operation, make sure the original remote control is functioning correctly and transmitting on 868 MHz.

Programming Procedure (Code Copy) — Practical Summary

Step 1 — Reset the Remote Control (optional, to clear the memory):

1. Simultaneously press button A (lock) and button B (unlock) until the red LED flashes 3 times.

2. Press and hold A, release B, then press B three times in succession until the LED flashes.

   → Memory erased.

Step 2 — Copying the original remote:

1. Place the original remote facing the new one (a few centimeters apart).

2. Press and hold the button on the original remote you wish to copy (e.g., unlock).

3. While holding this button, press the A button (or the chosen button) on the new remote until the LED flashes several times.

4. Release all buttons — the code is transmitted.

5. Test the cloned remote on the receiver at a short distance; Repeat if necessary.

Important Notes:

• Copying requires being close to the receiver/original; if repeated failures occur, check the frequency printed on the original transmitter (should be 868 MHz).
