Access to the receiver is required. Make sure you have access to the receiver/opener before purchasing. How is it programmed? 1. Open the receiver housing. It is located next to the motor. 2. Briefly press the programming button (ENR, MEMO, PROG, REC, depending on the model) on the receiver's circuit board. 3. Press and hold a button on the new remote control for 1 second. 4. Release the button. The receiver's indicator light will turn off immediately or within 10 seconds, depending on the model.
