Caution: Gas detectors are mainly used to detect natural gas (main components: methane), liquefied petroleum gas (main components: propane, butane), and town gas (alkanes, olefins, arenes).

When the combustible gas leak exceeds the standard, the gas detector emits a slow, fast, or continuous 85 dB audible alarm.

It cannot detect toxic gases such as carbon monoxide.

LED display Digital display and audible warning: The gas detector indicator displays 0 under normal conditions. If a flammable gas leak is detected, the numbers 1 to 9 and an A may appear on the display. When the concentration exceeds 3% of the LEL (Lower Explosive Limit), the alarm sounds and flashes red. Depending on the flammable gas concentration, the alarm will display in different states. TEST METHOD - Press and hold the power switch located on the air inlet of the methane detector, then slowly deflate (the indicator light will not illuminate during deflation).

When the concentration reaches the standard, the alarm will sound until the gas volume in the room drops below the alarm threshold.

Note: The system requires approximately 2 to 3 minutes to warm up.

During this time, the gas test will not function.
