I forgot to remove the flue cover, so the water heater malfunctioned when starting up and the detector went off. It is therefore sensitive and fulfills its role well. Danièle - Roullet-Saint-Estèphe (FR) November 6, 2022 Date of purchase: 20/10/2022 I am modifying my comment after thinking that it was triggering unexpectedly; In fact, it is when I use an aerosol (deodorant, hair gel...); As long as there's even the slightest trace of the propellant gas in the room, it's on alert. So this product is really effective, maybe a little too much so! (I tried adding asterisks but they don't appear on the screen...)
