Caution: Gas detectors are primarily used to detect natural gas (main components: methane), liquefied petroleum gas (main components: propane, butane), and town gas (alkanes, olefins, arenes).
When the combustible gas leak exceeds the standard, the gas detector emits a slow, fast, or continuous 85dB audible alarm. It cannot detect toxic gases such as carbon monoxide. Digital LED display and audible warning: The gas detector indicator displays 0 under normal conditions. If a flammable gas leak is detected, the numbers 1 through 9 and an "A" may appear on the display. When the concentration exceeds 3% of the LEL (Lower Explosive Limit), the alarm sounds and flashes red. Depending on the combustible gas concentration, the alarm will display different states. During this time, the gas test will not work.
