Product size: 115*70*40mm This gas detector complies with the provisions of standard EN 50194-1:2009. Warm-up mode The device will automatically enter warm-up mode after being switched on. The warm-up time is 180 seconds. Do not perform any other operation on the device during the warm-up time, as the alarm will not respond (the purpose of the warm-up is to adapt the gas alarm to the temperature and humidity of the installation environment). During the preheating process, the green POWER indicator flashes. Detection Mode: Once the preheating mode is complete, the alarm enters detection mode (normal mode): The green POWER indicator remains on. At this stage, the alarm can be tested: press the TEST button to test the product. During test mode, the alarm sounds “Di Di Di …”, the red ALARM indicator flashes, and the green POWER indicator remains on. Alarm Mode: When a flammable gas leak is detected and the gas concentration reaches or exceeds the alarm threshold of 3% of the LEL (less than 3% of the LEL, no alarm will be triggered), the alarm will sound “Di Di Di …” and the red ALARM indicator will flash, while the green POWER indicator remains on. The alarm will be silenced until the flammable gas concentration falls below the threshold. Failure Mode: If the alarm fails, it cannot be used normally. At this point, the POWER indicator will light up yellow and the alarm will sound an error. The ALARM indicator will not light up. Correct testing method: Press and hold the lighter switch to allow gas to escape slowly towards the detector's inlet hole (do not light the lighter during this process).
Note
: Do not open the gas stove for testing without professional guidance, as this is quite dangerous!
Natural gas is composed of methane, which is lighter than air.
In the event of a gas leak, natural gas rises to the ceiling and accumulates in the area around the ceiling.
Therefore, for natural gas, the detector should be installed 30 cm from the ceiling, 1.
5 m from the radius of the gas source.
LPG is composed of a mixture of propane and of butane, which is heavier than air.
If the gas leaks, the LPG will fall to the ground.
Therefore, for LPG, the detector must be installed 30 cm above the ground and 1.5 m from the air source.
Note
: Do not install the gas alarm in a location with a lot of water vapor, as this will interfere with the gas alarm.
Packing List
1 x Gas Detector 2 x Screws 2 x Screw Caps 1 x Double-Sided Adhesive 1 x User Manual Working Process and Function Description Alarm Concentration: ≥3% LEL Alarm Volume: ≥100dB ABS plastic material gas leak detector. This wireless combustible gas leak alarm is suitable for various combustible gas leak detection and alarms (liquefied gas).
Installation Notes
1. Alarm Installation Location: Within a 1.5-meter radius of the air source as the center, in a well-ventilated area. (1) Liquefied gas is denser than air and will remain in a low location after a leak. The alarm should be installed approximately 0.3 meters above the floor. (2) Gas and carbon monoxide are less dense than air and will remain high after a leak. The alarm should be installed 0.3 meters from the ceiling.
2. Locations where the alarm cannot be installed: corners, cabinets, and other places where air does not circulate easily, places easily exposed to oil vapors; Application: 1. Power indicator: green light, illuminates after power-up and turns off in case of alarm. 2. Alarm indication: red light, flashes in case of alarm. 3. Turn on the device, and after the green light illuminates or flashes for 3 minutes, the alarm will begin to function normally. When the detected combustible gas leak reaches the warning concentration, the alarm begins to sound. The green indicator light turns off, the red light flashes, and a continuous "drip-drip" alarm sound is emitted, along with a high-frequency wireless alarm signal. When the detected gas concentration drops below the pre-warning concentration, the alarm stops sounding. A relay control circuit is included on the printed circuit board inside the alarm, which can be easily installed by the user. When the alarm is triggered, the relay can control the exhaust fan to immediately evacuate the combustible gas and can also control the air supply solenoid valve to immediately shut off the air supply. Regular testing: 1. Use a lighter gas to spray gas into the air vent monthly. The alarm should sound and illuminate immediately after 5 to 8 seconds, indicating that the alarm is functioning correctly. 2. Please frequently remove dust and oil from near the air vent to prevent blockages. 3. Press the test button to simulate the alarm and verify that it is functioning correctly. How to handle an alarm: 1. Please immediately open doors and windows to ensure proper airflow and extinguish any sources of harmful gases. Do not turn any electrical switches on or off at this time to avoid sparks igniting gases that could cause combustion or even an explosion during switching on and off.
2. Immediately notify the gas management service and have it inspected and handled by professionals.
3. After being handled by professionals, the alarm must be ventilated. Technical parameters: 1. Operating voltage: AC 220 V.
2. Static power consumption: <2 W
3. Alarm concentration: liquefied petroleum gas 0.1%-0.5%; natural gas 0.1%-1%; town gas (H2) 0.1%-0.5%;
4. Gas response recovery time: ≤30 s; Carbon monoxide response recovery time: ≤200 s
5. Alarm volume: ≥70dB
6. Operating environment: humidity ≤97% RH; temperature -15℃—+50℃
7. Transmission frequency: 315 MHz.
8. PT2262 encoding chip 9. Encoding chip oscillation resistance is 1.5 MΩ. This alarm is controlled by an intelligent microcontroller and offers stable and reliable performance.
Features
: Thanks to a patented gas sensor, no passivation occurs, resulting in reduced power consumption and a longer lifespan; Unique design, capable of detecting gas, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas; Intelligent microcontroller control, self-detection, false alarm prevention, missed alarm elimination, stable and reliable; It can be used alone or networked with the solenoid valve/operator control system, with audible and visual alarms and automatic reset;
Installation
flexible; no alarm will occur within 2 to 3 minutes of power-up; Additional Information: The Harmful Effects of Carbon Monoxide, a Flammable Gas, on the Human Body. When the concentration of flammable gas exceeds the lower explosive limit, it explodes when exposed to fire (lighters, electrical switches, static electricity, etc.), causing serious injuries. Carbon monoxide is a harmful, colorless, and odorless gas, primarily produced by the incomplete combustion of combustible gases, gasoline, wood, etc. It is inhaled through the human respiratory system and deprives the body of the oxygen contained in hemoglobin, causing death from lack of oxygen. Detailed: Product Name: SG-2008EX--220V/12V. Product Category: Gas Leak Detector Series
Description
Detailed: Functions and Features The detector adopts the company's patented technology and does not require an external transformer. It is equipped with a nano-sensor and can very sensitively detect gas concentration. Of course, when the gas concentration reaches a certain standard, the detector emits a sound and turns on the alarm, and simultaneously transmits an alarm signal to the alarm control panel. Output Mode: Independent/Networked/Wireless (Optional) ▲ Independent (220V) / Networked (12V)
1. Use nano-sensors and cooperate with the company's patented technological design to effectively solve the phenomenon of false alarms and false alarms.
2. The network signals have NO, NC, and level output modes. The network signal can be used to start the exhaust fan and the solenoid valve.
3. Suitable for use with most low-current control systems (burglar alarm, building intercom, three-meter remote transmission, etc.)
4. High stability and long service life
5. Wall-mounted, attractive appearance, and low power consumption.
