Power and transmit data with a single Ethernet cable, reducing the number of wall outlets and cable clutter. Extend the power network range up to 90 meters (300 feet) from the power source, even in locations without mains outlets. It's a cost-effective solution for easily adding PoE compatibility to 5V USB-C devices and fully utilizing PoE switches, or for a Raspberry Pi 4 setup where a PoE HAT is not suitable. You will need an IEEE 802.3af (PSE) compliant PoE switch or injector and an Ethernet cable with a PoE signal to power the splitter. Notes: 1.
