Description

Product overview

This 65-litre rotating garden composter allows recycling everyday organic waste directly at home. Thanks to its single-chamber tank, it suits composting peelings, plant leftovers, dead leaves, grass clippings and other suitable biodegradable materials. Mixing is done by manually turning the drum to blend the different elements and promote regular decomposition.

Compact and functional, this compost bin easily finds its place in a garden, on a terrace or in a courtyard. Its structure mounted on steel legs holds the tank at a practical height and makes rotation easier. The combination of steel and polypropylene offers a set suited to common outdoor use.

Key benefits

  • 65-litre capacity for domestic composting of organic waste.
  • Rotating single-chamber tank for mixing the compost without using a tool.
  • 24 ventilation openings promoting air circulation inside the drum.
  • Steel legs ensuring the hold and stability of the structure.
  • Compact format suited to small and medium gardens, terraces and courtyards.
  • Green and black colours allowing discreet integration into the outdoor environment.

Recommended uses

This rotating composter suits individuals wishing to reduce the amount of green and kitchen waste sent to collection. It can be used for plant materials such as leaves, small branches, faded flowers, peelings and gardening residue. For balanced compost, it is advisable to alternate moist, nitrogen-rich materials with dry, carbon-rich materials such as dead leaves or untreated cardboard.

Installation and usage advice

Install the composter on a flat, stable, sufficiently clear surface to allow the drum to rotate. Avoid placing it in a constantly flooded area or directly against a wall. Fill the tank gradually without packing it excessively, then turn the composter regularly to homogenise the mixture and improve its aeration. Maintain a good balance between moist and dry materials. Adding a small amount of water may be necessary if the contents become too dry, while an input of dry materials is recommended if the mixture is too wet.

Do not place in the composter non-biodegradable materials, plastic packaging, chemicals, treated animal litter or waste likely to attract pests. The compost maturation time depends on the temperature, humidity level, nature of the waste and mixing frequency.
