Description
This paper gasket is used to seal and maintain the side cover of the gearbox housing on GY6 series engines (commonly found in 125-150cc scooters). It was specifically designed for engine maintenance and repair and prevents gearbox oil leaks after the side cover is removed (e.g., when changing the clutch, pulley, or gearbox oil, or during internal repairs). This ensures proper gearbox operation. The gasket is an essential wear part for maintenance and repair. Main applications: Replacing the gearbox side cover gasket; resealing after maintenance work on gearbox components such as the clutch, gears, and starter; and addressing oil leaks and spills at gearbox contact surfaces. Important notes: This gasket is a single-use product and is made of paper or composite material. After the side cover is removed, the original gasket loses its effectiveness and must be replaced with a new one to ensure a tight seal. Do not reuse old gaskets or attempt to replace them using only sealant.
