Installation

Remove the damaged thread using the appropriately sized drill bit (supplied).
Tap the re-drilled hole with the tap provided.
Load the coiled insert into the applicator.
Screw the coil into the casting.
Use The terminal crimping tool is used to break the label on the insert.
The wire is repaired and ready for use.

Application

This kit is suitable for repairing engines and other automotive applications, as well as for steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The threaded inserts allow you to create new wires that are stronger than the original metal.
