Description
This thread repair kit allows M8 threads to be repaired if damaged or worn.
They can also be used to create new, stronger threads in original equipment.
Sprung insert coils create a thread stronger than the original metal.
Ideal for restoring damaged threads, suitable for engine repair and other automotive applications in steel, cast iron, and aluminium.
Compatible with Helicoil type M8.

šOPERATION GUIDE:
1. Remove the damaged thread using a suitable size drill bit (supplied)
2. Tap the re-drilled hole using the supplied tap
3. Load the wound insert into the applicator
4. Screw the coil into the casing.
5. Using the lug clamping tool, break the label on the insert.
6. The wire is repaired and ready for use.
