It is designed for a mechanical tube length of approximately 160 mm (6.3 inches) and requires a 0.17 mm thick coverslip. Its working distance is 0.13 mm, and it uses cedar oil as the immersion medium. The parfocal and inter-objective distances are approximately 45 mm (1.8 inches) and 195 mm (7.7 inches), respectively, facilitating objective changes.
