Product information
Description
Specification:
Item Type: Drill Bit
Material: High-Speed Steel
Chip Flute Length: Approx. 5 mm/0.2 in
Blade Length: Approx. 15 mm/0.59 in
Outer Edge Angle: 135°
Series: 1/2" Handle Twist Drill Bit
Application: Suitable for drilling various materials such as die steel, I-beam, channel steel, plain steel, angle iron, aluminum, copper, wood, and stainless steel from 1 to 3 mm
Instructions for Use:
1. If the material being drilled is too hard, first use a 3-6 mm drill bit to make small holes, then use a larger drill bit to enlarge the holes. 2. The rotation speed of the electric drill for drilling hard objects should be between 80 and 120 RPM for best results. 3. Because stainless steel contains more alloying components, its hardness and mechanical properties are higher. When drilling with a hand drill, you need to apply sufficient pressure and the motor power must be high enough. It is easier to use a bench drill. 4. Add coolant or cutting fluid to cool the hole when conditions allow, to reduce damage to the drill bit from high temperatures and extend its lifespan.
