The carpet protector is very thin. The desk chair wheels are making indents which in-turn are pushing through to the carpet.
This product is giving no protection unlike our old one that was much thicker and allowed easy movement of the chair.
I can not recommend this product

The floor protector arrived in a box rolled up.
I rolled it the opposite way and left it outside for a few hours to flatten and for any plastic smell to be dispersed. The floor protector was for under my sons gaming chair as we have just fitted new carpet. The protector is quite soft but on looking at the carpet under the protector it is not dented or badly marked. So it's doing its job so far 2 weeks in.

The product has a small which hard to get rid of. It does come with a note to air it out but for how long and where? The plastic still sinks into the carpet creating that dent so not sure it solves the problem.
