General Description The SHINING HOUSE gas detector is designed to detect leaks of dangerous and flammable gases, such as natural gas, town gas, and LPG. It does not detect toxic gases like carbon monoxide (CO). This device is equipped with an 85 dB audible alarm and a digital LED display that indicates the detected gas concentration. If gas is detected, the alarm will sound with an audible and visual signal. Ensure the power switch is on. Operation The detector must be left in place for 2 to 3 minutes to warm up before it begins detecting. To test its operation, place an unlit lighter near the detection area. The alarm will sound if gas is detected. Other information: Alarm indicator: flashing red. Error indication: yellow light on. Do not use a lighter when releasing gas.
