They do not allow you to completely stop the water supply, but only to regulate the flow. The distributor is not completely watertight; therefore, slight water leaks may occur at the outlets. To completely shut off the water, please use the main water supply. Important note regarding application: The hose distributor is intended exclusively for unpressurized well systems – not for garden irrigation or other pressurized applications. It is installed directly in the well basin (underwater). A slight water leak helps to equalize the pressure. Compatible flow rate: This Y-connector for garden hose is suitable for pumps with a maximum flow rate of 1,500 liters per hour. Do not use with high pressure or pumps with a flow rate exceeding 1,500 l/h – which is the case for many common well systems.
Material Quality: The garden water distributor is made of robust ABS plastic and is resistant to underwater use. Threaded fittings make connecting hoses easy.
