Thanks to its AB bi-phase output, it allows for frequency quadrupling, achieving an effective resolution of 2400 pulses per revolution for highly accurate measurements. Powered by a 5-24 volt DC power source, it offers stable performance and reliable operation under various conditions. Its design includes an AB type orthogonal rectangular pulse output circuit. The output is an NPN open-collector type, offering broad compatibility with numerous controllers. Please note an important precaution: Phase A and B outputs must never be connected directly to the VCC supply voltage, as this may damage the output transistor. The device measures 38 mm in diameter and 35.5 mm in height. It features a robust 6 mm diameter and 13 mm long shaft. Its mechanical capabilities are impressive, supporting a maximum rotational speed of 5000 rpm and a frequency response of 0 to 20 kHz. For easy installation, it is supplied with a 1.5-meter cable. The connections are standardized: green wire for Phase A, white for Phase B, red for VCC supply (+), and black for ground (V0). Note that the presence of a terminal block may vary between batches. This encoder is a versatile tool ideal for accurately measuring rotational speed, angle, acceleration, and even length (via linear conversion).
