This infrared thermometer is suitable for everyday and industrial temperature measurements, e.g., in kitchens, refrigerators, on steel, glass, plastics, food, etc. (NOTE: Temperature measurements on humans or animals are not accurate.) The thermometer features a switchable temperature display in °C and °F, automatic data logging, a backlit LCD display, a battery level indicator, and an automatic shut-off function. A 9V battery is included. Measure temperatures easily and quickly from a safe distance. NOTE: The diameter of the object being measured must be larger than the laser spot. The integrated red laser allows for precise aiming. The laser spot ratio is 12:1, ideal for measuring targets at a greater distance. The measuring range is -50 °C to 550 °C / -58 °F to 1022 °F. Thanks to its handy and non-slip design, temperature measurement is easy both indoors and outdoors.
