Description
The chisel sharpener is made of robust cast aluminum. A complete coating of rust-resistant paint ensures durability and prevents rust formation. The clamping width can be adjusted by turning the screw cap. The sharpening guide is suitable for chisels from 3 mm to 47 mm wide and flat bars from 34 mm to 79 mm wide. The sharpening angle can be precisely set by adjusting the tool extension. A 30 mm extension corresponds to an angle of 30°, a 40 mm extension to an angle of 25°, a 38 mm extension also corresponds to an angle of 30°, and a 50 mm extension to an angle of 25°. The design replaces the conventional steel wheel with a ball-bearing wheel for smoother operation. Thanks to the carefully machined working surface, the sharpening guide precisely sharpens the cutting edge of your tools. Its curved shape makes it suitable for a variety of wood chisels. The sharpening aid can be used for wood chisels, planes, blades, augers, carving knives, irons, flat chisels, and for cutting. It can also be used without any problems on oilstones and waterstones.
