General description

The iRobot Roomba e & i Series Original Side Brush Module Motor is a crucial component for maintaining the efficiency of your Roomba cleaning robot. It is designed to help clean hard-to-reach areas such as walls and stove edges, ensuring that your robot operates at peak performance. Regular cleaning and replacement of the edge-sweeping brush module are essential for optimal functionality.

Technical specifications

  • Compatible with all Roomba e & i Series robots
  • iRobot Part Number: 4624874

    • Installation

  • Loosen the side brush screw with a screwdriver or a coin and remove the side brush.
  • Loosen the 5 screws holding the bottom cover with a Phillips screwdriver.
  • Unclip the battery to remove it from the robot.
  • Unscrew the 2 screws holding the side brush module.
  • Remove the side brush module.
  • Install the replacement side brush module and screw in the 2 screws holding the replacement side brush module.
  • Place the battery and the bottom cover back on.
  • Install the side brush and the side brush screw.

    • Usage

  • Regularly clean the sweeping side brush to prevent inefficient operation or damage to the module.
