General description

The Itron Corus ISB+ Communication and barrier module is designed for use with the Itron Corus gas volume corrector. It serves as an electronic interface that provides galvanic isolation between hazardous and safe areas for the RS232/RS485 ports. This module is powered by an external power supply, enabling it to provide isolated power to the Corus while converting RS232 communications to RS485, facilitating longer distance cabling for communications.
