Additional Information
Installation - We do not offer installation. All our garden structures have been designed for the DIY market and supplied with full pictorial instructions.
Natural Timber Properties - Despite the care we take in selecting the very best Timber available, it can still be unpredictable as its very nature is to be porous and swell up when it gets wet. Any wooden product will do this throughout its life.
Regular Seasonal Maintenance - Whether you opt to build your product yourself, do not be afraid to tighten the odd bolt here and there. Your product is a long-term investment. We would recommend that you use an appropriate water repellent treatment before the rainy months. This helps minimise the amount of moisture that the timber can absorb and thus minimises the risk of any major movement.
Fixings Included - We include all the screws, nails and fixings that you will need to put your climbing frame together. This eliminates the need to worry about the type of screws or the length of nails you might need to get started – it will all be with your delivery.
Metal Ground Anchors - we supply you with sturdy 530mm long galvanised metal ground anchors. These anchors feature large metal disks which you bury deep within the ground to stabilise your climbing frame. This means that unless the ground is overly soft, you won’t have to concrete your climbing frame to the ground.
Fully Pressure Treated - Climbing frames are fully pressure treated, increasing the longevity of the frame. All full lengths of timber are pre-cut and then pressure treated, ensuring all exposed timber edges are protected, reducing the likelihood of rot and insect infestation. Pressure treatment forces the wood preservative into the timber rather than just covering the exterior (dip treatment) like many companies still do.
No Bespoke Sizes - All our products are sold as advertised and we do not do bespoke/custom sizes. Our climbing frames range come in different shapes & sizes you can choose from. This allows us to ensure consistent quality of our products and precise cuts made by our machines.
Safety - Our climbing frames are independently tested to comply with EN71 European Safety Standards and are also CE rated. We have also tested our treated timber to the European safety standard EN71-3 to ensure that the chemicals are safe to use on children’s products.
Delivery Service - All our products are delivered using our own fleet of vehicles, not subcontractors. Our deliveries take place Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm. Please find more information on how your delivery will be carried out on our website and in your order confirmation.
Please provide a telephone number to enable us to contact you to arrange a delivery date, as all deliveries must be booked in.
