Small kitchen, big cooking ambitions — the Klarstein SlimVent is built for exactly that. At just 10 cm deep, it tucks neatly under your wall cabinet and gets on with the job: clearing steam, cooking smells, and grease particles at up to 178 m³/h, quietly enough that you can still hold a conversation while the hob's going.

That last point matters more than you'd think. At a maximum of 62 dB, even on the highest setting the SlimVent stays unobtrusive — no droning that forces you to raise your voice. The 33 W motor runs in either ducted or recirculation mode, so you're not tied to having an external wall duct. The aluminium grease filters pop out and go straight in the dishwasher. And the built-in LED light at 6,500 K gives you a clean, bright view of the hob — the kind of crisp daylight tone that actually shows you what colour your onions are.

Controls sit right on the front panel — button-operated, easy to wipe down, no fiddly dials collecting grease. The materials are built to stay looking presentable after years of daily use.

It's a particularly good fit for kitchens where a traditional canopy hood simply won't work: awkward layouts, low or sloping ceilings, or anywhere space is genuinely tight. Energy efficiency class A+ keeps running costs low without any compromise on extraction power.

Is the SlimVent right for you? If your kitchen is compact and a bulky hood would make it feel even smaller, this is the answer: 178 m³/h extraction, 62 dB noise level, LED lighting, and a dishwasher-safe grease filter — all in one slim unit that disappears under your cabinet. Recommended installation height: 65–75 cm above the hob.

Properties:

Fits where other hoods won't: At just 10 cm deep, the SlimVent mounts flush under your wall cabinet — no bulk, no lost worktop space, no awkward overhang.

Clears the air fast: With up to 178 m³/h extraction, cooking smells, steam, and grease particles are dealt with quickly — in either ducted or recirculation mode, no external wall duct required.

Quiet enough to cook and chat: At a maximum of 62 dB, even on full power the SlimVent won't drown out conversation — noticeably quieter than many standard hoods at high speed.

Cleaning sorted in the dishwasher: The aluminium grease filter lifts out in seconds and goes straight into the dishwasher — no scrubbing, no fuss, no build-up.

See exactly what's happening on the hob: The integrated LED light runs at 6,500 K — a crisp, daylight-tone illumination that lights the cooking surface evenly, so nothing gets missed in the pan.
