The Knipex 87 26 VDE Cobra® multi-grip pliers feature multi-component handles, are VDE tested up to 10,000 V, and are safe to use up to 1,000 V. They comply with DIN EN/IEC 60900. Adjustment is achieved by directly sliding a jaw onto the workpiece, and they then open with a simple press of a button from the same workpiece. They offer fine adjustment for optimal adaptation to different workpiece sizes and a comfortable handle width. The narrow head and joint provide good access to the workpiece, and the automatic locking mechanism on pipes and nuts prevents slippage and reduces the effort required. The gripping surfaces feature specially hardened teeth (approximately 61 HRC hardness) for minimal wear and a stable grip. The U-joint design ensures high stability through double guidance, and the protective device prevents the operator's fingers from being pinched. Specifications
