How to replace the shade?

Note: unplug the lamp socket. Carefully unscrew the bulb holder, unscrew the flexible part, then unscrew both ends of the arms. Be careful as they are often tight. Wear gloves in case of danger from old shade fragments

of shade. Remove all old shade. Replace the shade (do not overtighten the arms) and reconnect the lamp holder. Screw in the bulb holder but not firmly yet (2 or 3 turns only). Finally reconnect the lamp :)
