General Description The TDS-3 LCD TDS meter is a digital tester designed to assess drinking water quality. It measures the concentration of total dissolved solids (TDS) in water, ranging from 0 to 9990 ppm with an accuracy of 1 ppm. This device is equipped with an advanced processor that automatically calibrates the temperature and provides readings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. It is ideal for a variety of applications, including water filtration, hydroponics, and aquariums. Step 2: Turn on the TDS meter. Step 3: Immerse the device in the water or solution up to the maximum immersion level (do not exceed 4 cm). Step 4: Wait 10-30 seconds for the TDS reading to appear. Step 5: Press and hold the "hold" button to lock the reading. Step 6: Wipe away any remaining water and replace the cap. Use: The TDS meter is used to check water purity. The lower the TDS level, the purer the water, with 0 ppm being pure water. It is particularly useful for: Testing drinking water; Evaluating water quality in aquariums; Monitoring filtration systems; Controlling nutrients in hydroponics; Checking water quality in swimming pools and spas. Other information: Comes with a leather carrying case and clip for easy transport. Automatic shut-off function after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. Caution: Do not fully immerse the TDS meter in water and avoid exposing it to high temperatures or shocks.
