1. Clean and dry the outer glass of the aquarium.

Simply attach this thermometer to the outside of the aquarium and make sure it is not near a heat source such as a light bulb or heat pump.

It takes about 15 minutes to get used to the temperature when attached to the outside of the aquarium for the first time.
