1. The blow-off valve (BOV) is a pressure relief device located on the intake manifold to prevent the turbocharger from over-pressurizing.

2. The valve uses a combination of manifold pressure signal and spring force to detect when the throttle is closed.

3. When the throttle is closed rapidly, the blow-off valve (BOV) vents excess pressure in the intake manifold to the atmosphere to relieve pressure and eliminate turbo lag.

4. It features eight blow-off ports that draw in ambient air and release an aggressive, JDM-style racing blow-off sound.

5. The turbo blow-off valve has a dual-spring system for improved responsiveness and a maximum boost pressure of 30 PSI.

6. The relief valve is secured by two bolts and has a 40 mm hard-anodized valve for increased airflow.
