Installation

• Step 1: Test the kill switch by attaching one multimeter probe to the switch wire and the other to ground. Activate the kill switch (off).
• Step 2: Remove the old spark plug from the cylinder and reattach it to the spark plug boot.
• Step 3: Check for a spark by placing the spark plug electrode on the engine block. Pull the starter cord and check for a spark.
• Step 4: Install a new spark plug and repeat step 3. No spark indicates a faulty ignition coil.
