This is the perfect 40 XGT Starter Package. It contains 2 x BL4020 2.0ah XGT Batteries and XGT Rapid Charger with Makpac Type 1 case and battery inlay. This starter set also includes the ADP10 charging adapter for LXT 18v and 14.4v batteries. The Makita DC40RA compact fast charger is specially developed for XGT 40v Max lithium-ion batteries, however with this ADP10 charging adapter, the charger is also suitable for fast charging LXT 14.4v and 18v LXT batteries.Up to 25% faster than the current LXT chargers DC18RC and DC18RD plus you have the flexability of being able to charge the new 40V max batteries!  The Makita BL4020 40Vmax 2.0Ah battery is part of the the XGT range.
