The Makita CE001GZ is a Twin 40v/80v XGT Brushless 355mm/14In Power Disc Cutter, powered by two 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion batteries in series. The 40V max X2 (80Vmax) XGT® Brushless 355 mm Power Cutter has the power to cut through a variety materials wihle maintaining all the benefits and convenience of cordless power tools. The CE001G has a maximum cutting depth of 127mm and a cutting speed of 5,300 RPM thanks to its Makita brushless motor. The Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT®) on the 40V max X2 (80Vmax) XGT® Brushless 355 mm Power Cutter switches the motor off if the wheel spinning stops abrubtly. Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) is designed to improve a tool's function in tough environments by channelling water and dust away from vital internal components, an electric brake stops the wheel in 4 seconds or fewer, allowing for faster repositioning.
