The Makita DJR188Z 18v Brushless LXT Reciprocating Saw is a powerful and compact tool designed for professional use. It operates at up to 3,000 strokes per minute (spm) with a maximum stroke length of 20mm, allowing for substantial cutting capacities of 255mm in wood and 130mm in pipe. Weighing only 2.9 kg, this lightweight saw features a tool-less blade clamp, fixed shoe, variable speed trigger, constant speed control dial, and an LED job light for enhanced visibility during use. The saw is equipped with an electric brake and a lock-off button for added safety.

  • 3 x S617K Wood Blades (150mm, 3 TPI) for coarse wood, free of nails, and for performing curved cuts/plunge cuts.
  • 3 x S1531L Wood Blades (240mm, 3 TPI) for coarse fast cuts in wood and tree cutting/pruning.
  • 3 x S1411D Wood Blades (300mm, 6 TPI) for fast cutting of coarse wood, wooden panels, boards, plywood, plastic, and pruning green wood.
  • 3 x S1118BF Metal Blades (200mm, 10 TPI) for pallet repair, cutting through nails/metal, sheet metal, pipes, and aluminum profiles.
  • Installation

    Tool-less blade change allows for quick and easy installation of blades without the need for additional tools.
