The Makita DRT52Z 18V LXT Brushless Laminate Trimmer is a compact, entry-level trimmer that is suitable for a range of applications.
The easy to use trimmer, with easy access power control switch, is ideal for milling various laminated wood types and veneer wood. Whether dealing with door hinges, engraving in wood or rounding off edges, the DRT52 is the ideal tool to do it with.
The ¼” Collet tool has a depth capacity of up to 42mm and is comfortably controlled by a rack and pinion manual depth adjustment on the front of the machine. The square base has a diameter of 82 x 90mm and offers a clear line of sight to the cutting face.
Low vibration and surprisingly quiet as well, the trimmer includes a rubberised soft grip to maintain comfortable control when in use. Thanks to the inclusion of the brushless motor, the DRT52 delivers a fixed no load speed of 30,000rpm.
At the heart of this Trimmer is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently. As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
