The Makita DTM51 has been developed based on the models BTM50 and equipped with the tool-less accessory change system.
Tool-less accessory clamp. Lever style lock system allows for quick installation and replacement of accessories.
Ergonomically best possible barrel grip, with a perfect circumference size and shape which fits the hand for extra comfortable handling.
Battery capacity warning lamp Blinking red; battery power has been nearly used up. Solid red; battery power has been used up (battery protector will shut off the power.).
Accessories can be installed at 30 increments, across 360 degrees.
Variable speed control dial.
Soft start.
Anti-restart function.
High operating efficiency.
Includes assorted net sanding sheets
The net structure prevents clogging and performs with higher efficiency than traditional sanding papers. The number on the sanding net indicates the roughness of the abrasive grain. The lower the number, the rougher the sanding grit is. The higher the number on the sanding net, the finer it is. Sanding nets are easy to install thanks to the hook and loop fastening. Net sanding abrasives must always be used with a pad saver to ensure the tool's pad stays clean and free from damage.
