18V brushless pruning saw kit for professional branch cutting with extended runtime configuration
The Makita DUC101RT is an 18V LXT brushless 100 mm pruning saw supplied as a professional kit with one 5.0Ah lithium-ion battery and DC18RC fast charger. Engineered for arborists, landscapers and facilities maintenance teams, the compact BL motor delivers a chain speed of 8.0 m/s (480 m/min), enabling efficient and controlled pruning of branches and timber sections.
The 100 mm guide bar operates with 80TXL chain (0.325' pitch, 1.1 mm gauge) and integrates automatic chain lubrication to reduce the risk of chain stall caused by insufficient oil supply. Tool-less chain change and tension adjustment are managed via a large lever system for rapid servicing in the field. eXtreme Protection Technology enhances resistance against dust and moisture in outdoor environments. The movable upper guard progressively opens as the cut deepens, improving control during branch work.
